Tech TR414 Valves x 1000 (10 bags of 100)
Tubeless tyre valves are required for providing an air tight seal when inflating a tyre. The valve itself is made from rubber with a central metal tube which is sealed with a valve core which provides the primary air seal in a tubeless valve. The valve cap prevents the ingress of moisture, dirt, dust and debris into the valve itself helping the valve core seal remain intact. This prevents premature failure of the valve and also prevents air leakage from the tyre.
How often should the rubber valves be changed?
For a safe driving experience, we recommend that you change the rubber valve every time you change your tyre. The valve can be damaged by various external influences. This can lead to a potential loss of pressure in the tyre, which represents a high safety risk. In addition, the heavy strain also shortens the service life of the rubber valve.
It is recommended to check the rubber valves regularly. Above all, attention should be paid to whether the rubber on the valves is brittle, whether there is corrosion on the valve core or whether the tyre valve is damaged.
